Marine construction · Daytona to St. Augustine
We work Florida's east coast from Daytona Beach to St. Augustine with our own barge, crane, and crew — for waterfront homeowners, HOAs, and cities.
What we build
Timber and composite decking on driven piles. Walkways, sundeck platforms, boathouses and covered lifts.
See docks →
Sheet pile walls, concrete caps, tiebacks and shoreline repair that hold the bank where it belongs.
See seawalls →
Four-post and elevator lifts sized to the boat you actually own, set on piles we drive ourselves.
See boat lifts →
Formed and poured ramps, approach slabs and boarding docks for communities and public access.
See boat ramps →How it gets built
We drive our own piles with a hydraulic hammer off our own barge. Nobody else has to be available for your job to move. Permitting through the Corps, the water management district and your city is part of the job, not an add-on.
Who we build for
A new dock, a lift for a bigger boat, a seawall that stopped holding. We handle the permit, drive the piles, and leave you a structure you can walk your family out on.
Residential work →Community ramps, boardwalks, kayak launches and shoreline repair. Scoped and priced so a board can read it, phased so residents keep access.
Community work →Public docks, gangways and ADA access built to spec and inspected. We bid public work, carry the insurance for it, and finish it.
Municipal work →
“If it were easy, there would not be Insight Marine.”

Who we are
I have been in the field since 2000, licensed since 2007, and served in US Air Force RED HORSE from 2010 to 2016 — heavy construction and combat engineering. Insight Marine is the marine division of Insight Group, the family of construction companies I founded.
A few questions about the property, the water depth and the boat. We will tell you what it takes and what it costs.
