What we build

Four things we do every week.

Finished timber and composite dock with a covered boat lift

Docks

Timber and composite decking on driven piles. Walkways, sundeck platforms, boathouses and covered lifts.

Vinyl sheet pile seawall installed with timber piles and a poured cap

Seawalls

Sheet pile walls, concrete caps, tiebacks and shoreline repair that hold the bank where it belongs.

See seawalls →
Covered boat lift with a center console boat raised out of the water

Boat lifts

Four-post and elevator lifts sized to the boat you actually own, set on piles we drive ourselves.

See boat lifts →
Finished concrete community boat ramp running down to a lake

Boat ramps

Formed and poured ramps, approach slabs and boarding docks for communities and public access.

How it gets built

Our crew, our barge, in the water.

We drive our own piles with a hydraulic hammer off our own barge. Nobody else has to be available for your job to move. Permitting through the Corps, the water management district and your city is part of the job, not an add-on.

Permitting Pile driving Concrete Decking
Crew driving a timber pile with a hydraulic hammer hung from the barge crane
Crew waist deep in the water pulling a tape measure off the barge
Two crew members holding a level on a pile while the hammer sets it

Who we build for

Three kinds of client, one standard.

01

Waterfront homeowners

A new dock, a lift for a bigger boat, a seawall that stopped holding. We handle the permit, drive the piles, and leave you a structure you can walk your family out on.

Residential work →
02

HOAs and communities

Community ramps, boardwalks, kayak launches and shoreline repair. Scoped and priced so a board can read it, phased so residents keep access.

Community work →
03

Cities and municipalities

Public docks, gangways and ADA access built to spec and inspected. We bid public work, carry the insurance for it, and finish it.

Municipal work →

Who we are

Veteran owned, and still on the barge.

I have been in the field since 2000, licensed since 2007, and served in US Air Force RED HORSE from 2010 to 2016 — heavy construction and combat engineering. Insight Marine is the marine division of Insight Group, the family of construction companies I founded.
